The death occurred on Saturday of Mr Thomas Gledhill, of 24 Beech Hill Terrace, Halifax, aged 63. For seven years Mr Gledhill was licensee of the Masons' Arms, New Bank and for nearly ten years of the Lower George Hotel. He retired in July, last year. One of his sons formerly played for Halifax RL Club.
